History

Founded 1995

Lost Nation Archery was named after the Lost Nation hunting area in New Hampshire and Vermont where Ray Grenier, the original founder, took his first bear with a bow. Founded by Ray and Rene Grenier in 1995, Lost Nation Archery was later purchased by Larry and Janice Murray in 2003.

2003 - Larry & Janice Murray

The Murray's were cautious about following the whims of culture but were always ready to help a budding traditional archer with infectious joy and enthusiasm. Over the 20+ years, 1,000s of traditional archers found out how inspiring the arrow in flight can be. Archery truly is a gift, and "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." James 1:17.

2025 - Blake Mallory

After 22 years, Blake Mallory was entrusted to continue the fletching legacy established by Ray and Larry in February of 2025.

As the new owner of Lost Nation Archery, I want to thank Larry and Janice Murray for an opportunity to continue the legacy they cultivated over 21 years, their passion for traditional bow hunting is evident. Eight years ago, I traveled over two hours to Lost Nation Archery to buy my first traditional bow from Larry. Little did I know I would be able to take on the challenge of running LNA someday. It's crazy to think about the paths that God lays out for us to take.
